Your hair isn't
refusing to grow.
It's being cut off.

Every strand you grow frays at the tip and snaps before it gets anywhere. SplitEnder™ clips the frayed millimetre and leaves the length exactly where it is.

One pass. Frayed ends gone, length untouched.

The problem nobody names

You asked for two centimetres.
You walked out missing nine.

You describe a tiny trim with your fingers, then watch the floor fill up. Twelve weeks later you're back at the same length you've been stuck at for two years.

2 cmWHAT YOU ASKED FOR 9 cmWHAT ACTUALLY LEFT THE ROOM
The cycleEnds fray → strands snap → you book a trim → the trim takes more than the fray → repeat. Growth was never the problem. Retention was.
The fixRemove the fray the week it appears, in millimetres, at home — before it travels up the strand and takes centimetres with it.
Three steps · under fifteen minutes

It isn't scissors.
It's a filter.

Scissors cut straight across everything. SplitEnder™ sorts your hair first, then removes only what's damaged.

01

Feed a dry section through

Clean, dry, detangled. The comb channel takes a small section and aligns every strand in the same direction.

02

The frayed tips lift out

Healthy strands lie flat and pass straight through. Split and broken ends stick out — and only those reach the blade chamber.

03

Millimetres out, length in

Roughly 3–6 mm comes off the damage. Your length reads exactly the same in the mirror — just blunter, denser and smoother at the bottom.

The mechanism

Sorted, not chopped.

Four things scissors can't do

Why this replaces the between-salon panic.

It measures in millimetres, not fingers

A blade chamber set to the depth of a split — not to whatever a stylist eyeballs at 4pm on a Thursday. The same amount comes off every time.

Length preserved

It only touches what's broken

Healthy hair physically cannot reach the blade — it lies flat and exits the channel. Damage is what protrudes, so damage is what goes.

Targeted removal

No plates, no wands, no heat

The smoothness is mechanical, not thermal. Nothing above room temperature goes near a cuticle that's already survived an Australian summer.

Zero thermal damage

You stop waiting for an appointment

Spot a white fray on a Sunday, deal with it on the Sunday. Damage never gets the six free weeks it needs to travel up the shaft.

Read this before you buy

Three things we're not going to pretend.

  • It won't fix hair that's already snapped mid-shaft. Years-deep damage needs a stylist and a real chop first. This is what keeps you out of that chair afterwards.
  • Tight coils and 4C textures need stretching first. Blow-dried straight or fully detangled, or the channel can't align the strands. Curly and wavy hair is fine as-is.
  • Two passes per section. Never more. Three or four passes on the same strand is how people lose length and then blame the tool.

Every objection, answered flat

The questions you were going to Google anyway.

Be honest — will my hair be shorter?
Around 3–6 mm comes off the damaged tip — less than the width of a pencil, and invisible in the mirror. What you'll notice is the bottom of your hair looking thicker, because the stringy frayed pieces that used to taper away are gone. A salon trim routinely removes twenty to forty times more.
Will it pull, snag or catch my hair?
It snags for one reason: too much hair in the channel, or hair that's damp or tangled. Take sections about two fingers wide, on completely dry detangled hair, and it glides. This single mistake causes most of the bad experiences in this category.
Can it cut a chunk out or leave me uneven?
The blade sits inside a closed chamber behind the comb — it never contacts a strand until that strand is aligned and only the protruding tip is isolated. It physically can't take a bite out of the middle of a section the way scissors can. The one way to lose visible length is over-passing, so the rule is two passes, then move on.
My hairdresser says these tools are bad. Are they right?
Partly, and we won't fight them. This cannot cut a shape — no layers, no fringe, no face-framing. If you want a haircut, book a haircut. What your stylist can't do is remove the fray that appears in week three and then sits there for nine more weeks travelling up the shaft. That's the gap this fills.
Does it work on curly, coily or textured hair?
Loose curls and waves: yes, as-is. Tight coils and 4C: the hair must be stretched or blow-dried straight first, because the channel has to align each strand in the same direction. That's a real limitation, not a disclaimer. Used on stretched hair your curl pattern is untouched, since nothing but the tip is removed.
Is it safe near my scalp?
The blade is fully enclosed and never exposed — you can't touch it with a fingertip and it can't reach skin. It's designed for mid-lengths down, so it doesn't go near the scalp at all. Safe on children's hair with adult supervision.
How often, and how long does it take?
Most people run it every four to six weeks. Shoulder-length hair takes 8–10 minutes; waist-length dense hair takes 15–20 across four sections. More often than every four weeks doesn't speed anything up — splits need time to form.
Will it die after a few uses?
A single-piece moulded shell with a machined metal collar, not a clamshell that rattles apart. Motor rated past 500 sessions, charges over USB-C in about 90 minutes, and the blade chamber pops out for rinsing — clogged hair, not a dead motor, is what makes cheap trimmers "stop working". 12-month warranty.
Shipping and returns in Australia?
Dispatched from a local Australian warehouse — typically 2–4 business days metro, 4–7 regional, tracking emailed at dispatch. Free shipping Australia-wide. If it isn't for your hair you have 30 days for a full refund, used or unused, and you don't have to justify it.
